HKU's Success in Swimming

Merve Durdu who is a 1st year student of Department of Architecture at Hasan Kalyoncu University won medals in four different branches during the competitions which were held in Alanya Municipality Swimming Pool by Turkey Swimming Federation.
Merve Durdu who is a student at Hasan Kalyoncu University raced in the categories of 200 metres mixed, 100 metres breaststroke, 100 metres backstroke and 50 metres free. During the games, Merve Durdu won gold medals by achieving the first grade in the categories of 200 metres mixed and 100 metres breaststroke. Moreover; she prides Hasan Kalyoncu University by becoming third in the categories of 100 metres backstroke and 50 metres free.
Merve Durdu being a 1st year student of Interior Architecture and Environmental Designing in Architecture Department stated as such: ‘I started swimming at the age of seven. My parents were my greatest support. I exercise three days in a week and have started to get the rewards of my efforts that I paid in swimming. I believe that my success will continue increasingly. I want to become a trainer by proceeding in the field of swimming. In the near future, I will go in for a trainership exam. I express my thanks to my family and HKU directors who support me.’
