In HKÜ “AGENDA OF PSYCHOLOGY 3”  SYMPOSIUM “ATTENTION DEFICIT DISORDER HYPERACTIVITY” WAS DISCUSSED AS ‘’WHAT SHOULD WE DO? ”
Hasan Kalyoncu University (HKU), “Psychology Agenda 3” Symposium was hosted. From the neighboring provinces of Gaziantep and Psychologists, Counselors and teachers participated in the symposium Guide “Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder” were discussed in full detail.
Hasan Kalyoncu University organized by the Department of Psychology, “Psychology Agenda 3” Symposium; the participants were Sahinbey Governor Ugur Turan, Member of the Board of Trustees,  Songül Kalyoncu, HKU Rector. Prof. Dr. Tamer Yilmaz, Vice-Chancellor of HKU Prof. Dr. Zerrin Pelin,  Prof. Dr. Hanifi Aslan, academics, and the Psychologists, Counselors and Guidance Teachers from surrounding cities of Gaziantep.
Delivering the opening speech of the symposium, Rector of HKU Prof. Dr. Tamer Yilmaz, “Exhibitor profile variation in the number of participants and dense with satisfactory scientific content” Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder “themed event has breathed new life into our city. In recent years, unnfortunately we  hear everywhere Hyperactivity, since it is one of the most common psychological problems in the modern era. More experienced by children, psychological hyperactivity disorder is a serious psychological disorder that is common. ” What is ADHD? What do we know about ADHD? ”
Prof. Dr. Mucahit Öztürk , ” Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) , including individuals themselves , is especially concerned with family and community in the aspects of childhood, being one of the most important psychiatric problems. When diagnosed early, treatment is humorous side of the results obtained , ADHD, especially in the field of health and education workers, including all relevant professionals and families with children do have to be known by. ADHD , hyperactivity, inattention and impulsivity, can be classified as cluster consists of three main symptoms . Today, as most of us hears a clinical hyperactivity actually was first described at the beginning of the 1900s. However, the last 30 years, many number of scientific studies of the causes of ADHD is of biological origin has revealed a structural defect. There are three main symptom of ADHD. These are Hyperactivity Disorder ( hyperactivity ), Attention Deficit and Impulsivity,” he said.

Referring to misinformation about ADHD and belief, Mr. Ozturk “ADHD is not a disease of the modern age. Recognizing the normal behavior of children with ADHD “is a child, which makes it resolves with time” means the child is like to gamble on. In the formation of ADHD offenders, families are not guilty. ADHD is a disorder with a biological basis. Therefore, one can nurture ADHD is not the problem. The drugs used to treat ADHD are not addictive. Physically there is no permanent side effects. ADHD has to be diagnosed by a Child Psychiatry. Scientific treatment outside the family might be interested in some alternative methods, though there are a small number who applied. These methods are not scientific reputation, hence the family should not apply them (for example, music therapy, using a computer treatment, biofeedback practice, diet therapy, Multivitamin applications, etc.), “he continued.
” Someone Living With Children ADHD : Families, Teachers, Peer- What Should I Do? ”
Prof. Dr. Bengi Semerci in her speech addressed her speech on “Teachers, families and adults to the Recommendations”. Semerci, “hyperactivity and distractibility of the most obvious place is the class. Therefore, the teacher is an important element of treatment and it is difficult to achieve success without their cooperation. Teacher to be successful, they must have sufficient information primarily about ADHD. The most important task of the teacher is about the child’s self-esteem and confidence, declining to be successful by finding the area is to provide support and restore them. Having a child diagnosed with ADHD, family and the child’s life becomes difficult. Being a mother and baba, just to have a child cannot be explained. The most important thing you need to know and believe is that there is a problem with your child. If this problem occurs you are not a defect. Continuous contemplative, not careful listening, the angry, impulsive and self- related jobs that do not forget, without the concept of time is difficult to live with a partner. Family, colleagues, peers, and even to be told of the problem, for people with ADHD do not support the necessary organization provides. Also positive feedback reinforces the behavior. Results can be checked and improvements of the business performance, spouse, family and friends will positively affect their relationship. Adult education and supportive treatment, adults with ADHD to control the problem and provides a quality of life upgrade, “she said.

” ADHD with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy ”
Prof. Dr. M. Hakan Türkçapar “ADHD behavior management in cognitive behavioral psychotherapy , forms the most important part. The basis of behavioral therapy, appropriate behavior towards, motivates children. Positive parent- child relationship, such as priority and reward positive behaviors that produce results, this is an important component of the two behaviours. Individuals with ADHD ongoing internal restlessness and impulsivity live. In some of the cases in adult drug treatment alone may be sufficient. In some cases, contribute to the relief of symptoms, while not always received positive results from functional perspective. Long-term results in the treatment of adults with ADHD combined therapy are needed. In psychosocial treatment, as noted previously in adults as in children Cognitive- behavioral therapy (CBT) stands out. CIS purposes, to increase the use of coping strategies, incompatible IT change, and ADHD to accompanying emotions, situations and reduce the anxiety disorders and self-esteem issues is to consider the reduction. In the context of the CIS  realistic expectations and clear identification of targets is important,” he said.
