TO THE ATTENTION OF CANDIDATE STUDENTS FOR GRADUATION;

By the end of the 2017-2018 academic year, a single lesson exam will be held for students who remaining only one lesson to graduate. Information and conditions for the single lesson exam are below.

1. In case of taking all the courses in the lesson plan and not failed a lesson due to absenteeism, a single exam right is given for a course that prevents the student from graduating, regardless of the student’s grade.
2. Single course exams are held twice in an academic year, after the fall term make-up exams specified in the academic calendar and after the summer school.
3. In order to take attend the single course examination, the student has to apply a petition at her/his Faculty / School Dean / Directorate within two working days following the announcement of the make-up exams or summer school exam results. After examining the status of the student, the head of the department or program presents the names of the students who will benefit from the single lesson examination, the days of the exams will be determined by the school.
4. The student has the right to attend every single lesson exam in each semester.
5. In the single lesson exam, the evaluation is made only on the single lesson exam entered. In determining the letter grade, regardless of the midterm grade, the single lesson exam is converted into letter grade by taking into account the letter grade ranges on the grade chart of the previous exam.
6. For a single lesson form and detailed information, the relevant faculty should be consulted.
7. The single lesson exam fee is 500.00 (Five Hundred) TL.
