TÜBİTAK 2209 – Digital Design Academy Nature-Themed Photography Competition

The “Digital Design Academy” is an education and culture-arts event hosted by Hasan Kalyoncu University in Gaziantep in 2023 and supported within the scope of the TÜBİTAK 2209-A University Students Research Projects Support Programme. The Digital Design Academy aims to provide inclusive and equitable quality education within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and to promote lifelong learning opportunities for all. Based on action research, it aims to develop the versatile design and photography skills of young designers or photographers. The project involves universities in the TRC1 region (6 universities, including Adıyaman, Kilis and Gaziantep). The aim of the project is to enable 20 young designers to produce content, to enable young people to contribute to the development of the digital media sector (advertising, graphic design, photography, etc.), and to ensure that young designers and artists are recognised on the national platform. The Academy’s most important output is the inclusion of the exhibition and the works in the exhibition catalogue. This catalogue will contribute to the young people’s portfolios. In this way, the young people taking part in the Academy will be recognised.
