HKU'nun FEDE'ye kabul edilmesi gurur kaynağıdır. Hasan Kalyoncu University (HKÜ) has reached a significant milestone in its internationalisation efforts by becoming the first higher education institution from Türkiye to be admitted to the Federation for European Education (FEDE).

Through its membership of FEDE, a prestigious Europe-based academic network, HKÜ aims to strengthen partnerships with higher education institutions across Europe and beyond, develop joint academic projects, and take an active role in international initiatives.

“We Aim to Further Enhance Our University’s Global Visibility”

HKÜ Acting Rector Prof. Dr Gül Rengin Küçükerdoğan described FEDE membership as a strategic step for the university, stating: “Being the first higher education institution from Türkiye to be admitted to the Federation for European Education is a strong indication of our university’s internationalisation vision. At the same time, through our collaboration with Coursera, we are further reinforcing our digital transformation in education by expanding our students’ access to globally recognised programmes. We continue to support our international growth with concrete actions. In this context, 25 of our students will be offered professional internship opportunities in four different cities—Berlin, London, Dublin and Barcelona—and the relevant agreements have been finalised. We also aim to broaden our university’s international academic and institutional influence through our planned representative offices in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. With our FEDE membership, we will continue to enhance our global visibility by creating new collaborations and academic opportunities for both our students and academics.”

With a strong focus on quality assurance in education, innovative teaching approaches and international academic engagement, HKÜ also provides its students with access to globally recognised certificate and micro-credential programmes through its existing collaboration with Coursera, alongside the initiatives to be carried out under the FEDE umbrella, in line with its internationalisation and digital transformation objectives.
