Young and Dynamic Executives Meet with Business Department Students

Organized by the Business Student Community of Hasan Kalyoncu University (HKÜ), the Business Summit’23 program brought together young and dynamic executives from the business world to share their experiences with students.

The event took place at HKÜ Law Amphitheater, and featured speakers including Prof. Dr. Mehmet Lütfi Yola, Vice President of HKÜ, Dr. Zeynep Özgüner, Director of HKÜ Women and Family Research Application and Research Center (KADMER), and students. The invited speakers included Önder Akar, CEO of Smartpulse; Emre Boynuyoğun, CEO of Gain Energy; Gökhan Kaya, CEO of Koz Enerji; Erhan İşeri, Country Leader at Google; Çağrı Gürsel, Senior Executive at Agentis Capital; and Sinan Balık, Regional Sales Manager at Enerjisa.

Addressing the opening of the program, Dr. Zeynep Özgüner, Director of HKÜ KADMER, stated, “It is an exciting day for the Business Student Community, and I am here to share this excitement. I sincerely hope that this important event, where knowledge and experiences are shared, will be a productive day for the participants.”

Begüm Kartal, President of the Business Student Community, added, “It will be the most significant gain of our event if it contributes to our friends’ preparation for their careers and provides opportunities for mentorship.”

Following the opening speeches, the speakers delivered inspiring presentations on topics such as entrepreneurship, overcoming obstacles, strategy in entrepreneurship and companies, the future of renewable energy in the electricity market, investment trends in energy transformation, and careers in the information technology sector in Turkey and the United States. As the speakers shared their insights and experiences related to entrepreneurship and professional life, students followed their presentations with great enthusiasm.

At the end of the program, certificates for planting saplings were presented by Prof. Dr. Mehmet Lütfi Yola, Vice President of HKÜ, to the young executives who delivered guest speeches as a memento of the day.
