With the protocol signed at a ceremony held in the HKU Rectorate Senate Hall, the procedures and principles were determined for the Gaziantep Chamber of Industry TOBB Gaziantep Women Entrepreneurs Board, the HKU Women and Family Application and Research Centre (KADMER), the Faculty of Communication and the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences to organise joint meetings, training sessions, workshops, congresses and symposiums, conduct research, prepare reports, and share these reports with the public and the relevant state institutions and organisations.
The signing ceremony was attended by HKU Rector Prof. Dr. Türkay Dereli, GSO Chairman of the Board Adnan Ünverdi, HKU Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Gül Rengin Küçükerdoğan, HKU Women and Family Application and Research Centre (KADMER) Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zeynep Özgüner, and GSO Member Experience and Satisfaction Manager Kübra Kayın.
In a brief statement on the subject, HKU Rector Prof. Dr. Türkay Dereli said: “Thanks to this protocol, we have established a framework for the social and academic work we will carry out together, especially the activities to be jointly conducted by the HKU Women and Family Application and Research Centre and the TOBB Gaziantep Women Entrepreneurs Board on behalf of the Gaziantep Chamber of Industry. I believe this cooperation will make significant contributions to the development of both our university and the Gaziantep business community. I wish our cooperation protocol every success, and I thank GSO Chairman of the Board Mr. Adnan Ünverdi for his interest and support in this process.”
