Hasan Kalyoncu University (HKU), in line with its internationalisation vision, has signed an international cooperation protocol with Taiwan-based Believe in Kindness Integration Co., Ltd., offering HKU students the opportunity to undertake long-term internships and gain professional experience in Taiwan.

HKU Rector Prof. Dr Gül Rengin Küçükerdoğan said, “We attach great importance to enabling our students to experience different cultures throughout their education, gain first-hand experience in international working environments and develop their professional competencies on a global scale. Through this cooperation, we aim to provide our students with a valuable international experience that will contribute to their career journeys.”
Under the cooperation, students studying in fields including Gastronomy and Culinary Arts, Tourism and Hotel Management, Restaurant Management, Business and Management Sciences, and Foreign Languages will be able to participate in internship programmes at international hotels and restaurants lasting from six months to one and a half years.
Students will receive an average monthly salary/scholarship support of NTD 29,500. Depending on the conditions of the programme, accommodation, meals and airfare support may also be provided. Legal work permit procedures, as well as health and accident insurance arrangements, will be carried out in accordance with the relevant regulations.
Students who successfully complete the programme will be able to document their international internship experience and gain professional experience relevant to the global labour market before graduation.
