Hasan Kalyoncu University (HKU) students again this year showed great interest in the written and oral English exams held for the 2022-2023 Autumn Semester for the Erasmus+ Study and Traineeship Mobility programmes, which offer the opportunity to study and do a traineeship for one semester at partner universities in European Union member countries, with the aims of promoting one’s own culture abroad as well as getting to know new cultures.
Simge Gökberk, Erasmus Coordinator of the HKU International Relations Office and Lecturer at the School of Foreign Languages, stating that the students took a competitive and exciting exam, said, “We have held the written and speaking exams for the Erasmus+ study and traineeship mobility programmes. The next step will be to announce the students who will benefit from the programme and to inform the students concerned about the process. As the Erasmus Unit, our main aim is to help our students improve their foreign languages through these mobility programmes, increase their communication skills and build awareness by interacting with different cultures, be inspired by different societies and countries, and enrich their CVs after graduation. University life is one of the best periods in which you can develop your skills, and combining and enriching it with Erasmus programmes will be an important gain.”
It was stated that the exam results will be announced to students on 28 February at iro.hku.edu.tr.
