According to the “2010-2024 Patent and Utility Model Performance of Universities” report published by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office, Hasan Kalyoncu University (HKU) has emerged as one of the leading universities with its applications in the fields of “Consumer Goods” and “Medical Technologies.” With 10 commercialization agreements, HKU achieved a major success by ranking 9th overall and 2nd among foundation universities in the “Patent Commercialization Champion Universities” list.

In addition to its success in patent commercialization, which is one of the most significant indicators of transforming innovative projects into economic value, HKU also ranked 29th nationwide and 8th among foundation universities in terms of the highest number of patent and utility model applications, with 115 patent applications filed during the same period.
