The “Solid Hackathon”, hosted by Hasan Kalyoncu University (HKU), organised by the HKU Developer Student Clubs (DSC) Student Community and supported by the University Student Clubs Cooperation and Support Programme (ÜNİDES), was held over the weekend with intense participation. The hackathon, which featured 25 teams and lasted 24 hours without a break, brought together a total of 75 software developers. The event, in which 7 different technical drawings were provided and the parts were modelled using SolidWorks, began at 17.00 on Friday, 25 April, and ended with the closing and awards ceremony held at 17.00 on Saturday, 26 April.
As a result of the jury evaluation based on the criteria of drawing accuracy, drawing time, assembly quality and engine system, the “Mtindas” team won first place, the “1’inci Takım” (Team No. 1) won second place, and the “Biz Makinayız” (We Are Machines) won third place.
