At the ‘Business Summit’25’ programme organised by the Hasan Kalyoncu University (HKU) Business Student Club, experienced executives from different sectors of the business world shared their experiences with students.
The programme, held at the HKU Cine Amphitheatre, was attended by Acting Dean of the Faculty of Tourism Prof. Dr. Tuba Büyükbeşe, Director of the HKU Women and Family Application and Research Centre (KADMER) Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zeynep Özgüner, and students. As speakers, Hülya Akkaya, Deputy Chair of the Fair Organisation Assembly of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) and Member of the Assembly of the Gaziantep Chamber of Commerce (GTO), Taner Özdurak, Vice Chairman of the GTO Board of Directors and Owner of Özdurak Textile, and Mehmet Adem Kaynak, General Manager of the Gaziantep Gastronomy Academy and Bulla Training Restaurant, shared their experiences.
Speaking at the opening of the programme, HKU KADMER Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zeynep Özgüner said: “It is an exciting day for the Business Student Club, and I am here to share that excitement. I sincerely wish that this important event, where knowledge and experience are shared, will be productive for the participants.”
President of the Business Student Club Tuba Gün said: “For success, vision, harmony, cooperation and learning are as important as knowledge. We believe that this summit will strengthen these values.”
Following the opening speeches, in the panel moderated by Res. Asst. Dr. Gökçe Özmen, a faculty member in the Department of Business Administration of the HKU Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences (FEASS), the speakers shared their sectoral experiences and career journeys with students and offered important insights into the dynamics of the business world, entrepreneurship, leadership and sustainable success.
At the end of the programme, certificates of appreciation were presented to the invited speakers by HKU KADMER Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zeynep Özgüner.
