According to the report “2010-2024 Patent and Utility Model Performance of Universities” published by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office, Hasan Kalyoncu University (HKU) was among the universities that stood out with applications in the fields of “Consumer Goods” and “Medical Technologies”. With 10 commercialisation agreements, HKU achieved great success by ranking 9th overall and 2nd among foundation universities in the “Patent Commercialisation Champion Universities” ranking.
In addition to its success in patent commercialisation, one of the most important indicators of turning innovative projects into economic value, HKU, with 115 patent applications in the same period, ranked 29th among the universities with the most patent and utility model applications across Türkiye, and 8th among foundation universities.
