First-year students of the Hasan Kalyoncu University (HKU) Department of Interior Architecture carried out an exemplary social responsibility activity, giving training and distributing hygiene sets made up of disinfectant, masks and cologne so that the young pupils receiving face-to-face education at Oğuzeli Kindergarten can continue their education in a safe and hygienic environment.

HKU Department of Interior Architecture first-year students gave training at the kindergarten in the Oğuzeli district and distributed hygiene sets as part of a social responsibility activity, in order to help the young pupils in particular to be more careful and protected against the pandemic. Stating that, by drawing attention to pandemic measures within the scope of the social responsibility activity, they aimed to be of benefit to the young pupils, Lecturer Mehmet Vanlıoğlu of the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design said, “We gave training and delivered the hygiene kits to remind our little ones and our valued teachers to be careful against the virus and to make them feel that we are with them in their school life. We wish all our students healthy, successful and happy days in their school life and in their future lives.”

Stating that they were happy to have carried out this meaningful activity, Sinem Demir, a first-year student of the Department of Interior Architecture, said they would work to carry out other activities that can set an example.
