Hasan Kalyoncu University (HKU) held “Orientation 2024: Introduction to University Life”, a course for students newly enrolled in the 2024-2025 academic year. With this year’s orientation programme, held at the Performing Arts Centre, nearly 2,000 new students took their first step on their university journey.

Addressing the students who were placed at and enrolled in the university this year, Hasan Kalyoncu University Rector Prof. Dr. Türkay Dereli said: “We would like you to know that we are very excited and proud to be your guide on this meaningful journey. THE FIRST STEP INTO UNIVERSITY LIFE THAT SHAPES THE FUTURE
Within the Orientation Programme, organised with intensive, high-quality scientific and social content so that new students can adapt quickly to the 2024-2025 Academic Year, İzmir Institute of Technology Rector Prof. Dr. Yusuf Baran gave a seminar on “The Making of a Leader”, author-educator-communication specialist Dr. Fatih Akbaba on “Life on Campus”, and Gaziantep Yeşilay Branch President Prof. Dr. Haluk Şen on “Yeşilay and Addiction”. The new students of the HKU family were introduced to university life through a campus tour as well as events presenting the social, cultural and academic life of the university.
