Stating that they were happy to take part in such a meaningful event, the instructors of the HKU Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts said: “We are carrying out many projects together with Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality. We wanted to raise awareness on this meaningful day with our students who started their education in the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts this year. We need to remember them not one day a year but every day. Today, both our students and individuals with Down syndrome felt very happy with this event. It is very important for these children to be part of social life. We are always ready to support them.”
