In the programme titled “İslam Memiş Reveals the Codes of Investment”, organised by the Hasan Kalyoncu University Continuing Education Application and Research Centre (HKU-SEM) and the Young Financiers Student Society, Financial Analyst İslam Memiş shared current and detailed information on the economy and financial markets with students.
The programme, held at Cine Amfi, was attended by HKU Vice-Rectors Prof. Dr. Gül Rengin Küçükerdoğan and Prof. Dr. Mehmet Lütfi Yola, Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences (İİSBF) Prof. Dr. Hanifi Aslan, HKU-SEM Director Asst. Prof. Dr. Sema Mercanoğlu Erin, academics and students.
Director of the Continuing Education Centre Asst. Prof. Dr. Sema Mercanoğlu Erin said: “Today, we are here to learn the codes of finance together. I believe that everyone leaving this meeting will have gained a new investment insight and experience.”
Stating that in his book ‘Şifre’ (The Code) he explains in detail the codes of the new world order, particularly how the new generation will enter future economic and financial markets, Financial Analyst İslam Memiş said: “Each of you is receiving a detailed and good university education, but entering the market is a very different experience. Besides the numerical facts we learn in the book, we will also examine how things work and evaluate the practical applications of this knowledge together. The figures I share here today are my personal projections and should not be taken as guidance on investment or financial decisions.”
Economist and Gold/Currency Markets Expert İslam Memiş gave students up-to-date information on developments in domestic and global markets, including the stock exchange, foreign exchange, gold and cryptocurrencies. The programme ended with a question-and-answer session.
