THE FOUNDATIONS OF THE SMARTNET PROJECT WERE LAID IN GAZIANTEP
Speaking at the opening of the User Training Programme, HKU Rector Prof. Dr. Türkay Dereli said they were pleased to be a stakeholder in a project that aims to play a pioneering role in Türkiye’s digital and technological transformation, and stated: “The foundations of the SMARTNET project were laid years ago at our university in Gaziantep. With the same enthusiasm, we at HKU are working with all our strength for the success of this project, which we believe will make a great contribution to the entrepreneurship ecosystem of our country and Europe. The SMARTNET project offers important opportunities to entrepreneurs. Through the network developed within the scope of the project, entrepreneurs will be matched with qualified funds.”
The two-day training includes workshops to discuss ways of making improvements to ensure the sustainability of the SMARTNET platform. In addition to sharing theoretical knowledge about artificial intelligence and digital platforms worldwide, it aims to inform participants about mentoring and access to investment and financing, and to provide guidance on how these applications are carried out on the SMARTNET platform.
