Hasan Kalyoncu University (HKU) Rector Prof. Dr. Türkay Dereli published a message on the occasion of “December 3, International Day of Persons with Disabilities”.
In Rector Prof. Dr. Dereli’s message;
“December 3, International Day of Persons with Disabilities is one of our special days to be aware of. Because every individual is actually a natural disabled candidate. It is very important for everyone to be aware of this and always empathize. In our country, extensive work is carried out for our disabled people. With the superior efforts of our state, solutions are produced for the problems of our disabled people in many areas, especially in educational services, and every measure is taken to increase their quality of life. It is among the primary duties of all of us to maximize the integration and welfare of our disabled citizens in social life. As Hasan Kalyoncu University (HKU); we work hard to ensure that our disabled students have the comfort they deserve. With these studies, we are a university that has been awarded the “Accessible Universities Program Medal”. With the Special Education Department of our Faculty of Education, we are training successful teachers in this field. With these feelings and thoughts, as a university that works for all our disabled citizens to live an unimpeded life; I congratulate December 3, International Day of Persons with Disabilities, and wish them health and well-being”.
