Project and Patent Training, the second seminar was held on the days of SARGEP (Health-Research-Entrepreneurship-Editorial-Project-Patent), which was held in cooperation with Hasan Kalyoncu University (HKU) Institute of Health Sciences and Kalyoncu Innovation and Technology Transfer Office (KALİTTO).
MANAGEMENT IS IMPORTANT IN THE PROJECT PROCESS
The training subject of the program, Sargep’s second seminar, held with the participation of academics and graduate students interested in entrepreneurship in the health sector, was “Project and Patent Management”. The seminar was attended by HKU Health Sciences Institute Director Prof. Dr. Ayla Yava and It started with the opening speech of her. ava told the participants to pay attention to the management of the project process before presenting the products designed by people with business ideas or thesis studies, and the necessity to protect the products when they unearth the products.
IMPORTANT STEPS IN PROJECT WRITING
KALİTTO Project Expert Mehmet Mete Yılmaz introduced the topics of project management to the seminar participants. Emphasizing the necessity of effort in project management, project writing or to produce products / services, Yılmaz explained that the duration of the budget control of the team in the project is important. Project Specialist Yılmaz, who explained all the application processes of the relevant projects, especially TÜBİTAK, among the institutions where graduate students can carry out projects, answered the questions that the participants were curious about.
KALİTTO Coordinator; Cengiz Helvacıkara detailed the procedures and required permits and documents in order to become a patent holder, by informing about the trademark, design, geographical indication, utility model processes and their scope. At the end of the seminar, all participants were given a certificate of attendance.
