At the ceremony held in the HKU Rectorate Senate Hall, a protocol was signed establishing the procedures and principles for organizing joint meetings, trainings, workshops, congresses, and symposiums by the Gaziantep Chamber of Industry’s TOBB Gaziantep Women Entrepreneurs Board, HKU’s Women’s and Family Studies Application and Research Center (KADMER), Faculty of Communication, and Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences. The protocol also includes conducting research, preparing reports, and sharing these reports with the public as well as with relevant state institutions and organizations.
The signing ceremony was attended by HKU Rector Prof. Dr. Türkay Dereli, GSO Chairman of the Board Adnan Ünverdi, HKU Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Gül Rengin Küçükerdoğan, KADMER Director Assoc. Dr. Zeynep Özgüner, and GSO Member Experience and Satisfaction Manager Kübra Kayın.
In a brief statement, HKU Rector Prof. Dr. Türkay Dereli said, ‘Through this protocol, we have established a framework for collaborative social and academic efforts, particularly for projects to be jointly carried out by the HKU Women’s and Family Studies Application and Research Center and the Gaziantep Chamber of Industry’s TOBB Gaziantep Women Entrepreneurs Board. I believe this collaboration will make significant contributions to the development of both our university and Gaziantep’s business world. I wish our cooperation protocol to be beneficial, and I extend my gratitude to GSO Chairman Mr. Adnan Ünverdi for his interest and support throughout this process.’
