ART INSPIRES IN HKU

Exhibiting colorful artworks by reflecting their own colors and perspectives on copper, the students made great efforts in the workshops they attended. Adding a new dimension to copper with their works, the participants created an artistic breeze at HKU. Famous Painter Funda İyce Tuncel stated that she aims to bring art to people and that the painting will not only be on canvas but should also be painted on different grounds: “It is one of the priorities that young people make art a lifestyle. In every art workshop I did, we tried to produce a work by looking at the participants from different windows. With the work we did here, we aimed to create different products with a new perspective by meeting with the students, the copper art unique to the region. At the end of our workshops, students created beautiful products. I also had a different experience with the students. It made me very happy that universities support such artistic activities. I would like to thank Hasan Kalyoncu University, which held this event and supported its students in every field of art”.

The students, who add their own colors to copper, expressed that they are satisfied with the workshop and that they have fun in such activities and that they benefit from the development of the workshops by entering into colors. The “Painting Workshop on Copper Object”, which was held in three sessions and which was held with the intense interest of the students, ended with a souvenir photo taken by the participants with their works.
