UNIVERSITY-INDUSTRY COOPERATION WAS SPOKEN
Head of Computer Engineering Department of HKU, Dr. Faculty Member Ulaş Güleç; made an informative presentation about the steps taken within the framework of university-industry cooperation, the curriculum updated according to the needs of the sector, and the work carried out within the scope of the applied CO-OP model. Ulaş Güleç, who said that the undergraduate graduation projects at Hasan Kalyoncu University are carried out with an industry focus, explained the “University-Industry Together to the Digital Future” project initiated by the HKU Engineering Faculty. This project started by HKU Engineering Faculty; He stated that it is carried out together with the Chamber of Industry, Chamber of Commerce, Chamber of Electrical Engineers, Silk Road Development Agency and Kalyoncu Technology Transfer Office. Stating that the university-industry cooperation has become very strong with the project, Güleç also touched on the HKÜ Technopark, which is in the establishment phase.
Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology Dr. Çetin Ali Dönmez also visited HKÜ Kalyon Garaj Entrepreneurship and Prototyping Center after the meeting, which is the center where university-industry cooperation is implemented the strongest. Kalyon Garage Prototyping and Entrepreneurship Center; HKU provides researchers, entrepreneurs and SMEs with the opportunity to transform their ideas into designs and designs into physical products with mechanical and digital prototyping devices.
