Hasan Kalyoncu University (HKU) Faculty of Communication continues to host famous names. Famous actress İsmail Hacıoğlu, who won the hearts with the Ayla Film, and the artist İsmail Hakkı, who is a co-star in the movie Mehmetçik, met with the students.
The program, in which cinema was discussed, took place in HKU Congress and Culture Center (KKM) in cooperation with HKU Communication Faculty and Cinema Club. The interest of the students to the actor interview, which was organized with the participation of famous actors, was intense. The opening speech of the artist’s talk was given by HKU Communication Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Rengin Küçükerdoğan. Expressing that they host two valuable actors, Küçükerdoğan advised that communication faculty students should follow the program well and that friends who want to take part in every field of cinema in the future should ask questions about this field to famous actors.
“I WANT TO MAKE A FILM WITH MY OWN STORY”
Famous actors who shared their experiences with the TV series and movies they played shared with the participants, as well as their work experiences in cinema. İsmail Hacıoğlu, who established the throne with the Ayla Movie, which tells about his acting adventure and is still making a name for himself with the movies he plays now, stated that he started to be interested in the field of cinema at an early age and grew up with his profession. Stating that he dreams of making a movie with his own story and with the team, Hacıoğlu said: “I want to make a movie with the story I have created. “The first thing I am looking for in the movies I will play is the sincerity of the team and the director.”
“THE FUEL OF THE PLAYER IS EMOTION”
İsmail Hakkı, the successful actress of the movie “Mehmetçik”, which explains how he started his cinema life, talked about the series and films he played. Sharing his experiences with the students, İsmail Hakkı said: “We actually need to learn lessons from the movies and TV series we watched. We should always discuss the art side of the movie. My advice to friends who want to deal with this area; I believe that cinema cannot be done without loving it. We should not look at cinema entirely from its commercial side. The actor’s fuel is emotion, he said.
The students asked the famous actors the questions they were curious about in the actor interview, which attracted great interest from the students.
