Hasan Kalyoncu University Celebrates the Pride of Graduating 1707 Students!

The 2024 Graduation Ceremony of Hasan Kalyoncu University (HKÜ) was held at the university’s Performing Arts Center, which has a capacity of 3,000 people. The ceremony was attended by Haluk Kalyoncu, Vice Chairman of the HKÜ Board of Trustees, and Hakan Aslansoy, Deputy Mayor of Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality.

The graduation ceremony, where 1,707 students received their diplomas, was also broadcast live on the university’s official social media accounts.

Addressing the students at the graduation ceremony, Haluk Kalyoncu, Vice Chairman of the HKÜ Board of Trustees, said, “To date, we have graduated more than 18,000 students, 55% of whom are scholarship recipients. This year, we are sending off 1,707 more young people to pursue their dreams and futures. Today, you graduates will become our future leaders, software developers, lawyers, judges, prosecutors, scientists, educators, and colleagues. We believe that you will become the best in your fields and write success stories. We are confident that while writing these success stories, you will also uphold virtue, your family, and your national and spiritual values. As Cemil Meriç expressed in his book ‘This Country,’ you will be the generations who possess a consciousness of history, personality, and nationality, and you will safeguard our future.”

HKÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Türkay Dereli said, “I wholeheartedly congratulate all our graduates and their families. As members of the HKÜ family, each of you will illuminate every place you go with your talents, knowledge, and unwavering ethics and values. With the knowledge, skills, and lessons you have acquired, I am confident that you will perform your duties around the world to the highest standard, always prioritizing service to the country and humanity above all else.”
