TEKNOFEST Spirit Lives on Across Our Campus

HKU Rector Prof. Dr Gül Rengin Küçükerdoğan said, “The achievements of our students at TEKNOFEST 2026 are a great source of pride for us. It is particularly gratifying that our Viento Team repeated its 2025 success by once again winning first place and the TUSAŞ Special Award this year, becoming champions for the second consecutive year. These achievements, spanning unmanned underwater systems, rocket technologies, UAVs and robotic systems, demonstrate our students’ capacity to create, develop and innovate. I would like to thank Mr Cemal Kalyoncu, President of the Gaziantep Education and Service Foundation, and Mr Haluk Kalyoncu, Chairman of our Board of Trustees, for their continued and strong support for our university. We will continue to keep the spirit of TEKNOFEST alive on our campus and support our students throughout their technology development journeys,” she said.
