Hasan Kalyoncu University (HKU) took place at the TEKNOFEST which is Turkey’s largest technology event and it took place in the Istanbul Aviation, Space and Technology Festival. Turkey Team Technologies (T3), organized under the leadership of the Ministry of Industry and Technology Foundation and Istanbul Ataturk Airport festivals, thousands of visitors have frequented point.
HKU AT TEKNOFEST WITH ITS TECHNOLOGY TEAM
In the event where HKU participated with the Technology Team consisting of academicians, students and entrepreneurs developing technological products, products suitable for the festival concept were exhibited at the HKU booth. Various solutions such as electric motorcycle (E-Bike), virtual reality and augmented reality technologies, various games, Internet of Things technology (IoT), artificial intelligence products, which are produced entirely at the Kalyon Garage Prototyping and Entrepreneurship Center, were exhibited at the stand.
Developed by HKU academics, students and entrepreneurs; Ship Bridge Simulator, Work Machine Simulator, MINEVR-Mining Simulation, Virtual Maintenance Training System, Predictive Maintenance Simulation, Digital Denture Workshop, SMD Electronic Component Soldering and Typesetting Machine, Archery Game-Archery Simulation, Cross Teaching-Pedestrian Simulation, High City- The Altitude Phobia Therapy Application became technological products that were appreciated by the participants.
THE NATIONAL TECHNOLOGY MOVEMENT TEKNOFEST
With the motto of the national technology move, Teknofest was held to raise awareness and interest in aviation, space and technology issues among children and young people, and became the center of attention of thousands of visitors. Turkey’s largest aviation, aerospace and technology festival the Teknofest; Technology races in 12 categories, military and civil participating companies’ booths, on the main stage set up in front of the air control tower, performances and competitions throughout the day provided information to the visitors at the booths of the participating companies, as well as many experience opportunities. PRESIDENT ERDOĞAN: “TEKNOFEST BROKE A RECORD”
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan attended Teknofest, which hosted thousands of visitors: “Last year, our event was held in 16 titles with 4,200 teams, 20,000 competitors and 2,500 finalists. This year, TEKNOFEST broke a record with 17 thousand 400 teams and 2 thousand finalists, 50 thousand competitor applications and 10 thousand finalists, all 81 provinces of our country and 122 country participants in 19 competition areas and additional 6 new titles. I hope that this event will become one of the most important brands of our country in a very short time. I see this place as a platform that demonstrates what our nation, especially our youth, can do in the field of technology, even with very limited opportunities. The planning of this work, its content and reaching all the participants from 7 to 70, took place at the end of a planning that took months. This organization working for the realization of the great sacrifice of our Ministry of Industry and Technology unfamiliar with Turkey to end its Technology Team Foundation because of the energy of myself, I congratulate the nation on behalf mockingly, “he said.
