A ceremony was held for inventive academicians at Hasan Kalyoncu University, which attaches great importance to innovation and inventiveness within the entrepreneurship ecosystem.
Worldwide the mismanaged and Turkey’s only international invention fair ‘Three of the six academicians from Hasan Kalyoncu University (HKU) participating on the “5. Istanbul International Invention Fair and Online Exhibition”, among the 600 inventions; He was awarded with gold, silver and bronze awards. The Turkish Patent and Trademark Office hosted a ceremony for the academics who achieved success with their work at the online fair, which was evaluated by expert jury members. At the award ceremony held in HKU Congress and Culture Center; HKU Rector Prof. Dr. Türkay Dereli; ‘He presented a certificate of appreciation and a plaque to HKU lecturers participating on the “5.Istanbul International Invention Fair and Online Exhibition”.
Addressing the importance of university-industry cooperation within the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem in his speech at the ceremony HKU Rector Prof. Türkay Dereli: “We organized this program to thank our academicians who made inventions and tried to commercialize them. Awarding of these inventions is of great importance in terms of revealing the quality of scientific studies at our University. I congratulate our academicians who participated in the fair and represented our University in the best way, and wish them continued success”.
Academics of HKU Engineering Faculty and Health Sciences Faculty Received Awards
‘At the 5.Istanbul International Invention Fair and Online Exhibition; HKU Engineering Faculty Dr. Lecturer Bilal Eid, who received the gold medal for his invention named “Wireless Mobile Device Charging and Waiter Calling Method”, received the gold medal from HKU Health Sciences Faculty Nursing Department Lecturer Dr. Lecturer Betül Tosun and Res. See. Ezgi Dirgar, silver medal for her discoveries on “Speaking Digital Insulin Pen” and HKU Faculty of Health Sciences Dr. Lecturer Deniz Kocamaz, her member, won the bronze medal award with her invention of “Apparatus for Diagnosing Knee Osteoarthritis”. HKU Health Sciences Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Kezban Bayramlar, HKU Engineering Faculty Lect. Prof. Dr. Fatih Hasoğlu and HKÜ Engineering Faculty Lect. Prof. Dr. Celal Koraşlı also received a certificate of participation.
The academicians received their awards and participation certificates at the award ceremony and took group photos with HKU Rector Prof. Dr. Türkay Dereli. The ceremony ended after the group photo shoot.
