HKU Campus Reunites with Its Students! Hasan Kalyoncu University (HKU) students started the 2020-2021 Academic Year face-to-face and online education with high motivation.

During the pandemic process, while the search for how people around the world will live and how to receive education, HKU, which received an award in the field of “Satisfaction of Life on Campus”, offers its students an environment where they can receive a healthy and quality education.

HKU students, who continued their 2019-2020 Spring Term remotely due to the coronavirus epidemic, started education in the 2020-2021 Fall Semester with the system called “HYBRID”, which includes face-to-face and distance education. HKU Students, who started the new academic year without wasting any time, enjoy the advantages of the “HYBRID” education model. While students who preferred distance education continued their education online, students who came to the campus by choosing face-to-face education had a double happiness by meeting their universities and friends. In addition to the students who are happy to be together again at HKU, approximately 1500 new students who said hello to university life also entered the university life by participating in the “Introduction to University Life” course.

“CAMPUS FOUND LIFE WITH THE STUDENTS”

Stating that the campus has come to life again with the students, HKU Rector Prof. Dr. Türkay Dereli: “I am one of those who think that people should always be hopeful in order to sustain life. Difficult processes always teach us new things and enable us to have different experiences. Individuals who can produce solutions within these experiences and who prefer to investigate the problem instead of being a part of the problems will have taken an important step to enlighten their future. Before we started this process, we thought about our problems and solutions to the finest detail and worked on them. In line with the intense demands of our students, we decided to open our university with an online supported face-to-face (HYBRIT) education model. We got very good feedback. Considering the breadth and size of the social and physical areas of our university, we believed that we could do this job. All measures have been taken for our students. We have not faced any negative situation so far. We are delighted when we see that our university is colored with the students and the happiness of their university life again. Our students will continue their university life, which they deserve, in our campus, which is friendly with green and nature.
