Hasan Kalyoncu University (HKU) participated in the European Association for International Education (EAIE) university educational fair between 15-18 September, 2015 in Glasgow, Scotland.
Europe’s biggest, world’s second biggest fair and conference, EAIE, gathers thousands of professionals by being organized in a different country every year. With the participation of 40000 academics from 80 different countries in the university educational fair organized 27 times, thousands of universities introduced educational activities, facilities, works, mission and vision.
It was aimed to fostercollaboration and exchange ideas in higher education in the fair which got a great deal of attention and participation all over the world. By participating different national and international fairs, HKU, allowing its students to get university education in more and more countries, increases the opportunities day by day for international students to have education in Turkey. HKU widening its educational network in the national level, has signed many international agreements with various countries in the fair.
HKU vicerector and HEAS Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation academic Prof. Dr. Zerrin Pelin and Department of Civil Engineering RA Mehmet Sakin represented HKU in the fair. Prof. Dr. Pelin who emphasized that the fair was fruitful in terms of promoting higher education institutions in Turkey and reaching various agreements in international level, signed many international collaboration agreements such as Erasmus+, Mevlana, and internship on behalf of HKU.
