HKU’s Engineers were also Farewelled. On the last day of HKU 2020 Undergraduate Graduation Ceremonies, which were spread over 7 days and 13 sessions at the Hasan Kalyoncu University (HKU) Performing and Art Center, it was the turn of the Engineering Faculty students to graduate.
Graduates who connected to the graduation ceremony, which was broadcast live on HKU YouTube official account, also enjoyed graduation online. HKU Rector Prof. Dr. Türkay Dereli congratulated the graduates who attended the ceremony with a live broadcast.
ENGINEERS ARE THOSE WHO WILL BOOST THE REPUTATION OF ENGINEERING
Highlighting that the most important hosts in the development processes of countries are engineers, HKU Rector Prof. Dr. Türkay Dereli said that the TEKNOFEST events and competitions held in Gaziantep for a week have demonstrated the importance of engineering once again. Emphasizing that the work required to increase the reputation and prestige of the engineering profession should be done by engineers, Prof. Dr. Türkay Dereli also asked newly graduated engineers not to break their ties with their universities and to strengthen them.
HKU Engineering Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Hanifi Çanakçı in his speech at the ceremony; He congratulated the graduates and their families by saying that the dream that the students started to have in their last year of high school came true with the graduation ceremony.
After the speeches; Documents and plaques were presented to graduates of Computer Engineering, Electrical-Electronics Engineering and Civil Engineering. Faculty of Engineering Graduation Ceremony ended with a group photo shoot.
