Hasan Kalyoncu University (HKU) 2018 Graduate Celal Karasakal works as a Corporate Communications Specialist at the world’s largest airport under one roof the IGA Istanbul Airport.
HKU which is offering students the opportunity to work in Turkey’s most important projects and mobilizing all possibilities that the school has which is causing that is being talked about the accomplishments and the names of the graduates frequently. Celal Karasakal, who graduated from HKU Communication Faculty Visual Communication and Design Department in 2018, has been contributing to the production of video, photo and infographic animations that make up the entire visual world of IGA for two years.
The 3rd Golden Baklava Film Academy International Student Film Festival Organized by HKU Faculty of Communication who Karasakal got the third prize at and started his business life by completing his internship at A Haber Visual Design Unit, and made his university proud while continuing his career successfully.

HKU Graduate Celal Karasakal, who said that he proudly had the privilege of graduating from HKU: ‘‘My professors, who worked in different disciplines of the media during my education, blended theory and practice and explained the dynamics in the communication sector. They guided us through their four-year education life with their experiences and competencies. For two years, I have been working as the corporate communications director at Istanbul Airport operator IGA. My task is to create the visual world of the airport. To support the communication efforts of the brand with videos, photos and animations, studying at a university provides competencies such as acquiring a basic culture, learning to think and understand different perspectives. These achievements formed the basis of my current work. My university has been a valuable turning point in my life.
