In the “Curriculum vitae Preparation Training and Talent Gate Promotion” program organized by the Hasan Kalyoncu University (HKU) Career Center through video conferencing, the students were taught the tips of preparing a professional resume (CV).
Students’ interest in the program, in which the importance of preparing a professional and accurate CV, was explained, was intense. Participants in the online event were informed by Faculty of Education Ars. Gör. and Career Center Manager Ahmet Ayaz and Sevda Gül Gündüz from the Career Center.
How to Prepare an Accurate Resume?
The Moderator of the program, Ars. Gör. Ahmet Ayaz explained to the participants what it is to prepare a CV and the points that should be taken into consideration about how to prepare a correct CV. Explaining the steps to be followed in the preparation of an accurate CV, Ayaz emphasized that the prepared CV should be used correctly in job, internship and education applications, and emphasized that disciplined and planned work should be emphasized.

Sevda Gül Gündüz from HKU Career Center talked about the requirements and tips for preparing a CV. Expressing that the HKU Alumni Information Management System, which provides service at mbs.hku.edu.tr, is a system that guides in preparing a CV and finding a job, Gündüz explained the application registration process and the steps to be followed in practice. Sevda Gül Gündüz drew attention to the fact that the Talent Gate Platform prepared by the Presidency Human Resources Office is also an application that will assist in career counseling and preparing the correct CV.
