Ali Cenk Gülce, who made a presentation of “Crisis Management and Case Study in Social Media” in the program held at HKU Pocket Cinema, explained the social media and crisis management processes to the participants. In the event, where information on how to use social media and developing communication technologies was conveyed, HKU Rector Prof. Dr. Edibe Sözen also joined. Sözen advised HKU Communication Faculty students to follow communication technologies continuously and to benefit from the information festivals held as technical equipment and information equipment.

Participation of the students was intense in the event, in which the full content of the social media field, which has recently become a new medium and is actively used by millions of people, was explained. Saying that social media, which emerged as a new public relations issue, has the effect of convincing the masses and establishing emotional bonds, Gülce said that this area even affects the reputation management styles of brands. Emphasizing the importance of following the developing communication technologies, the founder of “Proje Dükkanı” emphasized the importance of communication faculty students to use the social media field effectively and to know how to manage them professionally.

Ali Cenk Gülce, who explained social media step by step to HKU Communication Faculty students, divided the participants into groups and had case analysis done on social media. The students doing the analysis shared the results with the media expert. Checking the results, Gülce talked about the fact that crises can sometimes be turned into an advantage. In the program followed with great interest, Gülce answered the questions that the participants were curious about. After the question and answer session, HKU Rector Prof. Dr. Edibe Sözen presented a plaque to Proje Dükkanı Founder Ali Cenk Gülce. The event ended after the collective souvenir photo.
