Designing with two partners of the company “Gift for you Istanbul”, HKU students made colorful designs using various shades of flowers.
“WE ARE PLANNING MORE WORKSHOP ORGANIZATION”
At the autumn in boxes workshop moderated by Kübra Kalyoncu Seherli, lecturer at HKU Faculty of Fine Arts and Architecture Department of Interior Architecture, Kalyoncu Seherli made the following statement: “We organized this kind of activity to develop various combinations of students in color and design. We started the autumn in boxes workshop with made within this framework as our first work. We are planning to organize more workshops with our students. When asked why flower workshop is called or what does it have to do with architecture, we can say the following: We should not say “flowers” or not. Because the color of the flower is color or tone, there are many varieties. For example, there are hundreds of shades of red or blue. With this workshop, we bring the color combination, which is one of the most basic issues of a home or workplace design, to our students. Together with the two partners of the “Gift For You Istanbul” brand, we are doing design studies with our students today, ”he said.
STUDENTS ARE SATISFIED WITH THE ACTIVITY
HKU Interior Architecture and Environmental Design Students stated that they liked the event very much and that the event improved themselves in terms of design. Students who learned the concept of color by making designs on flowers stated that what they learned would be effective in their future design works. The students said that increasing the workshops would be very beneficial for them, and they were very pleased with the autumn in boxes workshop was made in this sense.
