We encourage research and innovation and equip our students with the necessary competencies in their fields. In this process, we strive to not only collaborate with relevant sectors but to integrate with them. The ‘Sector on Campus’ program is one of the best examples of this collaboration. Today, we are here with HAVELSAN as part of this program. We thank them for their support and participation.’
Starting his speech by providing information about HAVELSAN and the ‘Sector on Campus’ program, Dr. Erol Yücel emphasized, ‘Technology is advancing rapidly, but the priority always lies in qualified human resources. Qualified individuals enhance competitive advantage by developing technology. It is important for you to use technology in a way that enhances your competitive edge. You need to continuously improve yourself. The most important task to achieve competitive advantage is to develop meaningful differences and deliver them rapidly.’ He provided insights to students on the importance of technology and competitive advantage, how future professions might shape, and possible strategies aligned with these concepts.
As part of the ‘HAVELSAN on Campus for Your Future’ program, mentorship groups under the theme ‘Strategic Self: Individual Transformation for Future Leaders’ will continue to engage with students on March 21-22, 2024, at the HKU campus.
