
The Most Innovative Universities of 2020 were announced and Hasan Kalyoncu University is in the Top 10
Hasan Kalyoncu University (HKU) ranked 8th among foundation universities and 31st among all universities in the 2020 “Entrepreneurial and Innovative University Index”. The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK) carried out under the leadership of the index; HKU continued its rise among 185 universities.
HKU Ranks 8th Among Foundation Universities
HK is the # 8 one among private universities in Turkey, while the # 31 among all universities a total of 42.2 points entered according to the list released by Science, Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa Varank. In the index made by TÜBİTAK every year, universities this year; “Scientific technological research competence”, “intellectual property pool”, “cooperation and interaction” and “economic contribution and commercialization” were evaluated in four dimensions and 22 indicators. In the announced index HKÜ; It has increased its success chart by surpassing the ranking of last year among the entrepreneurial and innovative universities and universities that have scientific and technological competence and can offer this competence to the benefit of the ecosystem through cooperation and interaction with local, national and international innovation actors.

Speaking about the 2020 Entrepreneurial and Innovative University Index and thanking everyone who contributed to this success, HKU Rector Prof. Dr. Türkay Dereli: “Our Entrepreneurial and Innovative ecosystem is developing and growing. Hasan Kalyoncu University; Kalyoncu Innovation Technology and Transfer Office (KALİTTO), Kalyon Garage Prototyping and Entrepreneurship Center, Incubation Center in Silicon Valley of America, with its Teknopark affiliate in Gaziantep Organized Industrial Zone, prepares the most suitable environment for its entrepreneurs. Strong; Our university stands out in entrepreneurship and innovation with its university-industry cooperation, mentoring practices, registered patents, periodicals, and industrial projects.
