The 4th Istanbul Economic Summit (IEZ), held in cooperation with Hasan Kalyoncu University (HKU) and with the support of Kalyon PV, was held in Çırağan Palace with the main theme of “Restructuring the Global Economy for Sustainable Development”.

One of Turkey’s most important economic Summit was held this year for the fourth time. The organization brought business people from different countries together. In his speech at the summit; Expressing that the 4th Istanbul Economic Summit started with the goal of a search conference and has become a very important event today, HKU Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees Haluk Kalyoncu stated that the organization is focused on strategic issues and thanked everyone who contributed. The “New World Order” was discussed at the Summit, which was held on the same day as December 10, World Human Rights Day, in order to contribute to the world order and the country’s economy that is constantly transforming with the effect of globalization.
At the Summit Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences”, Department of Economics, Dr. Yıldız Özkök from HKU was the moderator of the panel titled “Sustainability in Agriculture and International Food Supply Security”; 10 separate panels were held simultaneously. At the Summit, which made a tremendous impression with the current issues it contains, panelists who are experts in their fields touched on key points.
To carry on Turkey’s acceleration of economic development the 4.Economic Summit in Istanbul, “Istanbul Gold Values Award Ceremony ‘was hold and attracted great attention with its theme and content, the summit ended with the “Climate Change Fashion Show”.
