Dear students,
Due to the Corona Virus (COVID-19) epidemic, our students who gained the right to study
abroad within the scope of Erasmus +, Farabi and Mevlana exchange programs in the spring
term of 2019-2020 and are currently continuing their education due to the measures taken in
some countries (Distance education, University / Institution decision to suspend education) It
is not possible for them to continue their education or internship activities in their institution.
If you terminate your Education / Internship activity that you have benefited from due to the
epidemic, unfortunately, your right to the Foreign Exchange program will not be postponed /
postponed or transferred to the next project year. Corona Virus (COVID-19) epidemic has not
yet been detected or it is not possible to transfer exchange programs to universities that have
not / have not taken any measures by higher education institutions of different countries.
Covid-19 due to the completion abandon the exchange program or activity from students who
want to return to Turkey, demands will be considered under force majeure reasons.
In this context, the grant payments that the students in question benefit from the exchange
program will be calculated again by the relevant unit, taking into account the duration of their
stay abroad in their passports (or the foreign entry-exit document obtained through E-
government) and the cost of return flight tickets on the condition of being in economy class. .
Students with a grant payment are required to return the amount exceeding their stay to the
relevant unit.
Under these conditions, our students who are abroad in the spring semester are expected to
decide urgently whether they will continue their education abroad and inform their
department coordinators.
