Hasan Kalyoncu University (HKÜ), in line with its internationalisation vision, has signed a “Memorandum of Understanding” with one of Poland’s established higher education institutions, the University of Zielona Góra, aimed at enhancing academic cooperation.
The signing ceremony, held at HKÜ, was attended by Acting Rector Prof. Dr Gül Rengin Küçükerdoğan, Rector of the University of Zielona Góra Prof. Dr Wojciech Strzyzewski, HKÜ Secretary General Ümit Şahnaoğlu, Honorary President of the University of Zielona Góra Katarzyna Lasinska, HKÜ International Relations Coordinator İhsan Kuyumcu, HKÜ Erasmus+ Institutional Coordinator Lecturer Simge Yılmaz, and Erasmus Institutional Coordinator of the University of Zielona Góra Prof. Dr Marek Smoluk.
INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION CONTINUES TO STRENGTHEN
In her remarks on the visit, Acting Rector Prof. Dr Gül Rengin Küçükerdoğan stated: “As Hasan Kalyoncu University, we attach great importance to strengthening our international partnerships. We aim to elevate our long-standing collaboration with the University of Zielona Góra to a more advanced level. In addition to increasing joint programmes and mobility within the scope of Erasmus+, we also seek to collaborate on more comprehensive international initiatives such as Horizon Europe, KA2 projects, and joint certificate programmes. We believe this visit will further reinforce the academic ties between our institutions.”
The visit, carried out with the aim of increasing student and academic mobility within Erasmus+, developing joint academic programmes, and advancing cooperation to a higher level, is expected to make a significant contribution to strengthening the international academic network between the two universities.
